   Mortar selection considers the existing masonry, repair purpose and exposure, including color and texture matching limits.

   Failed joints are ground out and packed in layers; damaged bricks come out and close matches go in.

   Each joint is tooled into a water-shedding profile and shielded from drying too fast, and the brick is cleaned without harsh acid.
